Tuesday is “HATS OFF FOR HAITI”: 
Wear your favorite hat with Dress Code
 
Wednesday is “Let’s get crazy for Haiti”: 
Wear crazy socks or hair with dress code

Thursday is “Have a Spirit Heart for Haiti”: 
 Wear spirit shirts with your jeans
 
Tuesday -Thursday before school, come to the cafeteria to
pay your $1.00 and get your pass to wear regular clothes for Friday.

Friday is pay $1.00 to wear school board approved regular clothes.
“Be yourself for Haiti Day.” 
 
 
FAMILY GAME NIGHT
February 17th, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
In the cafeteria, we look forward to seeing you there!

Is selling Valentine Grams February 5th- 10th.  See Miss Scott in Room B38  Send a poem, a sweet comment or just let someone know you care to a sweetheart, a friend or a favorite teacher.  Grams are $1 or $1.50 and will be delivered February 16th during 7th period.

LIBRARY
Study Skills is in the library until further notice.

Scholarship!
Best Buy is offering a $1000 scholarship to students who:
1. Are in grades 9th-12th.
2. Have good grades.
3. Are involved in community service or have work experience.
You must apply by February 1st, at the latest, February 15, 2010

From the Principal

I would like to welcome you to Miyamura High School,  a new school with a growing and changing environment.  This growth and change allows more of our students to participate in the school community of sports, activities, governance and academics.
 
We are a Character Counts school working towards positive behaviors for our entire community.  We encourage all members of our community to become lifelong learners in the words of one student, To be somebody, not a nobody.
 
I encourage you to become a member of the School Advisory Council to add your voice to the decision making process of Hiroshi Miyamura High School.
